Rockblock Cellars Southwind Syrah

$75/bottle

The Story of Rockblock Southwind Syrah

For those who aren’t afraid to get their shoes dirty, take the path less traveled to the dark side of Syrah. With an aroma of black fruits and pepper spices, it has a savory mouth-feel with lingering dark chocolate and raspberry flavors complemented by hints of sage and tobacco.

The Southwind Syrah is a raw expression of the earth, dark and brooding. It tells a tale of the old wild west, tumbleweeds, leather, and dusty wind in your face.

Dare to explore with Southwind.

Vineyard Info

In the Southeastern corner of Washington State, just past the Oregon border, lies the home of this Walla Walla Syrah. A place where windblown marine sediment parcels and fractured basalt define the landscape. Rocky soils and a cool climate create a wine with a dusty character on the finish.
